Yes, that’s right, plural!
Due to August’s inherent craziness and the teams need for a bit of well-earned holiday, we have decided to save the next feast night until mid-September. We have been making the most of the break by coming up with an absolutely knock-out menu inspired by the best of Cornish summer produce.
Simple and vibrant – letting the produce sing.
On arrival:
Rum ‘n’ Shrub
Fal River Distillery rum mixed with our trusted Sevenstones shrub cordial.
To start:
Beetroot Carpaccio
Made with organic beetroots grown within five mile of the café, topped with rocket pesto made with Awen’s Rocket.
To follow:
Summery fish stew
Local Fish Scampi
Dressed Cornish new potatoes
Vibrant house salad
Homemade bread & Cornish butter
Showcasing the best fish we can get our hands on landed by Kernow Sashimi on the Lizard, complimented by the best organic vegetables & leaves from Trevelyan Farm and mopped up with bread made from heritage Cornish grains.
To Finish:
Seasonal fruit tart tatin and homemade salted honey Ice cream
The best fruit we can get our hands on – probably apple or pear. Locally sourced honey, Treen Farm’s organic milk and eggs.
Places can be booked in person, by phone on 01326 569267, or online.
