Reopening 2020

We are open again from Tuesday 4th August
We are very pleased to annouce our reopening from Tuesday 4th August.  Back with our delicious Yallah coffee, our scrumptious homemade cakes and sweets, our fantastic breakfasts and those outstanding lunches!

Small is beautiful
As we find our feet again after such a long period closed, and with an eye on the longer term, we will be scaling down our operation slightly, so you’ll notice that we will no longer open on Sundays, and that there will be no regular evening services for the foreseeable. But we’ll make sure our breakfasts and lunches are better than ever!

Book ahead
At least for the time being, we will have fewer tables available, and we therefore highly recommend that anyone wishing to visit should try to book a table in advance, either by email or preferably by phone during Café opening hours.

CAST Public Programme
We’re thrilled that CAST will offer a free programme of films by the internationally renowned artist John Smith, running in the black box projection space during Café opening hours.  CAST has also devised an offsite project for families – CAST-OFF – offering self-guided, family-oriented creative activities in Penrose and along the Cober valley.  Visit c-a-s-t.org.uk for more details and look out for CAST-OFF publicity.

Private Hire
Do get in touch if you would like to arrange a small gathering of friends or family for drinks or food and we’ll let you know what we can do – and how we can safely do it!
