Why have Cornwall Council declared a Climate Emergency?  Why are school kids striking on Climate?  Scientists believe we are entering a period of abrupt climate breakdown – make no mistake, this is an emergency.

How can individual and local actions make any difference within a globally interlocked system? Why do some social movements succeed, and what is the role in their success of community resilience and regenerative culture? How can we work together to foster the courage and resourcefulness needed to respond appropriately, in the face of mass extinction?

In this public talk Extinction Rebellion Cornwall will share some of the latest climate science on where our planet is heading, and offer a solution based on a succinct series of demands to Government.  There will be time to ask questions and discuss afterwards.

We will serve a CAST Café supper beforehand from 6:30pm: something hot and something sweet from £7.50, no need to book.
