Saturday 17th November:

Live music: Accidental Hero

Accidental Hero (aka Ben Pagnam) makes modern acoustic music that keeps a perfectly tuned ear on the past masters. Drawing inspiration from 1930’s Americana, the 60’s west coast surf movement and the 70’s English folk scene, the sound is pure and organic; instantly accessible yet hard to forget.

CAST Café Supper from 6:30pm: something hot and something sweet from £7.50, first come, first served.

Music from 8pm. Free entry, all welcome.

CAST programme in November

Building work has resumed at the CAST building in Helston, continuing the renovation project that started in January this year in preparation for the launch of the Groundwork season. The renovations are funded by a Small Capital grant from Arts Council England, with additional support from Cornwall Council and the Monument Trust. This phase of the project will provide new studios as well as encompassing essential building repairs. The high-spec black box installed to show moving image work for the Groundwork programme will be retained and CAST will programme artists moving image events and presentations in this space.
