Thursday 11th October:

Screening: The Eagle Huntress

A documentary following the story of Aishoplan, a 13 year old Kazakh girl in Mongolia, as she attempts to become the first female eagle hunter to compete in the eagle festival at Ulgii, Mongolia. It has divided opinion, with some critics questioning its authenticity, claiming many scenes must have been re-enacted or staged. However, this is an undeniably heart warming story that also makes the most of the bleak Mongolian landscape. A film to welcome the onset of Autumn to!

Join us from 6pm for a CAST Café supper: something hot and something sweet, from £7.

Screening at 7pm. Free entry, all welcome.

Friday 19th October:

Feast night: Wine Supper

Join us for a sociable evening of food and wine.  A simple, hearty, three course Autumn feast, with food and wine pairings at each stage.  Mushroom pâté with Pinot Noir, coq au vin with Côtes du Rhône… What could be better to while away a brisk October night?

Tickets are £27.50 per person, including all food and drink. For full menu details and to book places, visit the Eventbrite page here or pop into the café.
